I had to dig a bit to learn more about this syndicated American radio program. Sponsored by the United States Office of Economic Opportunity, Voices for VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) began airing in August 1965 to attract Job Corps recruits. Incidentally, VISTA was JFK's vision, later manifested by Lyndon B. Johnson.
